Tesla Model X Review

Spread the love

There’s something to be said when you drive a Tesla for the first time, and that is you never feel like going back to your normal car afterward. These cars feel like some sort of new space-age toy, something that you should experience rather than drive.

Don’t get me wrong – I still love my normal car to bits, having had it since 2007. But there’s something innately exciting about sitting behind the wheel of a Tesla that you just can’t properly put into words. This was of course, my second spin with a Tesla, but it was still equally exciting.

The obvious downside is its price tag – sitting close to AED 600,000 for the model I drove, the dream of ever owning a car like this is going to stay exactly like that – a dream. There would have to be tremendous incentives in place for buying one (free Salik for life perhaps?) not to mention competitive loan programmes in place to ensure that you aren’t forking out a fortune to pay for it (rough calculations would put it down to around AED 6,700 per month).
